This is one of those posts or upcoming posts that I become a fan. For those who read my previous posts and know me personally, this isn't new to you that I'm a big fan of Parokya ni Edgar. 

PAROKYA NI EDGAR was awarded BAND OF THE YEAR by the Stagg Music Awards 2011.

and the band's vocalist CHITO MIRANDA JR. was awarded MOST LIKED VOCALIST-MAINSTREAM.

i am a big fan of Parokya ni Edgar i always read their posts on their Facebook fan page and follow PNE band members on twitter. since i knew that they have a blog i added them right away on blogs im following. PNEROCKS is a "compilation of articles about the band, trivia shared by the band members themselves, and the others." ang alam ko fan lang din ang "admin" nung blog e, pero may permission naman ata ng band un mga posts sa blog na galing sa fb fan page ng PNE. :) 

and i dont want to miss the opportunity to send an entry on the blog's FANFUN SHARING and hopefully they can feature my blog on theirs. ahm...Fanfun sharing is a page on their blog where they give the fans a chance to share their experience with the band by composing a short blog and send to parokya.edgar@rocketmail.com.

nagulat talaga ako noong malaman ko na nandun yun blog ko. "paano nakarating yan dun?" at ang saya ko lang. :)

right away I shared the photo on my twitter and facebook account...

sa sobrang tuwa ko pati mga taong naglike at nagcomment sinama ko pa sa post ko. hahaha. :) 

at medyo nahiya pa ako kasi kasama ko sa headlines ang BBC, CNN, CBS News. baka may wrong spelling or wrong grammar ako sa post ko. hahaha. :)

at nag-tweet ako sa parokya ni edgar. :)

thank you to James Banaag! alam ko na dahil sa kanya kaya nakarating sa raymundtweets Today ang blog post ko. 

alam ko din na ang focus ng pag feature ng blog ko ay para maparating sa mga tao na may fanfun sharing ang Parokya ni Edgar blog. nais ko lang malaman niyo na ang saya ko noong araw na yan. PROUD NA PROUD AKO SA SARILI ko. :)

GOT TWEETED

Last September 17, 2011 I attended the Halina sa LPU ft. Parokya ni Edgar concert...

After the concert I tweeted these...

tweeted PNE members and thanked them for a ROCK and ROLL concert.

I'm so happy when I was able to hold Chito's arm and it felt cold. 

His slanted eyes and when he smiles it make me FALL IN LOVE! :)

And my Idol Chito Miranda (Parokya ni Edgar's Vocalist) also tweeted this...

He thanked all those who came in the concert especially the Pirates of Lyceum. :)

When I woke up I still can't get over about the concert and tweeted this...

on my tweet I mentioned PNE members and expressed how happy I am last night and Im still lying in bed that morning

and it surprised me when PNE's back-up singer Vinci Montaner retweeted/replied...

"ako rin" --short but mean a lot to me! :)

I read his RT day after he replied and IM SO HAPPY! :)

and right away I asked him if where I can buy the shirt he wore at the concert...

I like his shirt "MAY PAROKYA, MAY KAMIKAZEE, MAY GLOC9 PA"

and he immediately replied "WALA"...

I felt bad when I knew that it was a personalized shirt and nowhere I can buy one. :( 

After that concert I listed all the songs they played and tweeted and mentioned parokyaniedgar's twitter account...

unfortunately I can't remember the order of the songs. The last four songs were the songs I remember in order. 

I almost forgot one of their songs...

"Inuman Na"

Since I mentioned parokyaniedgar, I didnt expect that they will reply on my tweet.

they said I just tweeted 11 songs and that i missed "Inuman na".

I forgot to mention them on my last tweet and replied...

MY REAL EMOTIONS: 

for others they might find my post non-sense, some may call it "kababawan" (shallowness) but for a fan like me it means a lot. That band is so busy with their concerts or even with their private  life, and for them to recognize a tweet from a fan must be something.  On their twitter account parokyaniedgar their followers are 18,669 and counting, on their Facebook fan page parokyaniedgarofficial they hit 1, 724, 477 and counting likes. Those numbers doesn't include all  followers of Parokya ni Edgar band members, individually. Like the band's vocalist Chito Miranda with 157,206 tweetpeps follows his twitter account chitomirandajr. So for a fan like me it surprised me when they were able to recognize my tweets. 

Sa tingin ko ito ang mga dahilan kung bakit mahal na mahal sila ng fans nila dahil... 

 hindi sila nakakalimot sa mga taong umiidol sa kanila, 

hindi nila pinababayaan ang mga sumusuporta sa kanila, 

walang sawa sila sa pagpapasalamat sa fans nila at 

patuloy ang pagmamahal nila sa amin.

Dapat yung concert gaganapin noong August pero sa pagkakatanda ko dahil ata sa sama ng panahon kay minove yung concert date ng Sept. At yung ibang estudyante binenta yung ticket nila sa murang halaga, baka yung iba tinamad na pumunta at noong araw na mismo ng concert umuulan, its their lost, SAYA KAYA NOONG CONCERT kaIt's been a year since I was able to watch Parokya Ni Edgar on stage. I always check on their Facebook Fan page http://www.facebook.com/parokyaniedgarofficial or even their twitter accounts to see if they have a gig that fit my sched and accessible for me. :) Finally I was able to find out that they will be having a concert at Lyceum of the Philippines University. and right away I asked some of my High school barkada who are studying there and they did updated me if outsiders are allowed to watch the concert and how much is the entrance fee. :) 

hit muntik na umulan. Buti na lang noong nagsimula na ang PNE tumigil na ang ambon...At yun ang unang concert na napuntahan ko na di masyado madami ang nanuod. pero masaya parin syempre mas importante sa akin yung pagtugtog ng PNE kaysa sa manunuod ng concert. :)

 The concert ended at  around 9pm and we waited for the band to get out of the waiting area to have an autograph or picture with them. However we failed but not with their drummer. :)

Kay DinDin na lang kami nakapagpapicture kasi ang higpit ng security ni Chito Miranda pero nahawakan ko naman yung kamay niya! at ang lamig niya, hindi ko lang sigurasdo kung siya yung malamig o ako. hahaha. :) at nakita ko si DinDin na naiwan sa stage at lakas loob na akong lumapit para magpapicture. Mabait naman yung ibang security kasi sila pa nagsabi sa akin na "Sige, magpapicture ka na" at nakakamayan ko pa siya. :)
