"Highlighting the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines' Year of the Youth celebrations, a Christmas concert will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on December 10, 2011 from 7 to 10 pm by the Archdiocese of Manila's Commission on the Youth and Campus Ministry Office as well as Jesuit Communications Foundation (JesCom). With the theme, "KABATAAN: Handog sa Simbahan at Bayan".
By focusing on the youth, the Catholic Church aims to increase awareness of their plight and promote the youth's active role in the church and society.
"The Year of the Youth is the Catholic Church's way of showing its undying love for and hope in the Filipino youth," explained Fr. Nono Alfono, SJ, Director of JesCom. "This concert will help inspire and uplift their spirits."
A donation of PHP 50.00 per ticket will be greatly appreciated to cover the expenses of the concert. For more information, please contact Jesuit Communications at 426-5971 or email email@example.com."
